THE SUPREME COURT: A Supreme Travesty
THE SUPREME COURT: A Supreme Travesty
It is curious to note that “We the people” are extended the right to vote for regional local and federal judgeships but we are not extended the courtesy of voting for supreme court justices.
I cannot comprehend how people do not know that the Supreme Court exists to defend citizens from being victims of prejudice, not to enforce prejudices to subjugate citizenry and prevent dissent. It is sickening and disappointing that this supreme court has seemingly cosigned the advancement of institutionalized discrimination over the rights and freedoms of individuals.
Is this really America? Aren’t we regressing? Men get women pregnant and then deny them the right to discontinue their pregnancy: for every denied abortion shouldn’t there also be a legally enforced tube clipping of a man’s reproductive organ (it only seems fair that it should)?
Will the Court next endorse lynching, domestic violence, killing born children…oh right…it kind of does now. I am not a pacifist and I am not violent by nature, however, there are politicians and members of the supreme court whose sudden demise I would not mourn. There are too many evil men and women slowly corroding the constitutional freedoms of the people.
The institutionalized, preferential disposition toward the wealthy multinational corporations and those who serve them has systematically taken away the opportunity for hardworking Americans to experience home ownership but instead be held hostage by ever increasing rent prices (it is a known fact that home ownership leads to lower crime rates and more social and economic stability for the communities). The developers building these multiunit properties are funded by the global monetary oligarchies; people naively think the visible players are the culprits but the real culprits remain hidden in the shadows. Those hiding in the shadows are backing politicians unrestrained by term limits, orchestrating their secret ambitions, and exacting a heavy toll on any nation’s citizens.
